Irish Cream Swirl Brownies - Dairy-Free & Gluten-Free

Now, I could start this blog post off by talking about how St. Patrick's Day is fast approaching.. because it is. And I could tell you that I love all things Irish because it's in blood..which according to an Ancestry DNA test...would be true. But, right now I want to share with you this AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS recipe for these Irish Cream Swirl Brownies that I made this weekend.. and then I'll ramble on about my love for all things Irish later.

These brownies aren't your average snack by any measure. Made with just a few simple ingredients and kicked up a notch with a touch of some Irish Cream, these fudgey squares of goodness go beyond any ole brownie you've eaten before.

These Are Brownies For Grown-Ups Only

I don't usually cook with alcohol, but when it comes to having a little fun on St. Patrick's Day, it just seems natural to use some Irish Cream in a recipe somewhere right?

The recipe actually doesn't call for a lot of the Irish Cream, nor does it have an over powering flavor of it, yet it does make it a little bit more exciting to have a dessert that you call a 'Grown Up' treat for sure.

Also, having a gluten-free and dairy-free version of Irish Cream available in the stores now just seemed to seal the deal on making these brownies! It's almost like it screams.. MAKE SOMETHING YUMMY WITH ME!

So, I made something yummy with it!

Well, not really. I'll save that for another post, but be prepared for a bunch of Irish recipes to be hitting the blog soon.

Even if you're not Irish.. they'll still be delicious!
