Dairy Free Pumpkin Spice Coffee Creamer

We may not get the beautiful colors and the colder air here in Florida, but there are ways we can bring Fall to the sunshine state. One way of doing that is coming up with Fall inspired recipes. My favorite one so far this year is this dairy free Pumpkin Spice coffee creamer that I just made.

No Pumpkin in Pumpkin Creamer?

When it comes to talking to people about food, I try really hard not to stand on any kind of 'healthy is the one way to go' food soapbox. No one wants to be preached at constantly about how bad their food choices are, yet I do try to encourage people to read labels.

The above ingredient list is from one of the most popular coffee creamers out there. This is actually the list for their pumpkin spice creamer, but no where does it say pumpkin.

Oh, and don't let the 'natural flavors'  fool you..

there is no federal regulations with that so it can be just about anything.

As a certified health coach, and just a person who cares for people, it's frustrating for me to see people consuming these things because it's a 'holiday flavor'.

It Truly Is Easy To Make Your Own

Convenience is one reason so many consumers purchase these creamers. They want those 'Fall' flavors, and they just figure this is the only way to get them.

Well, I am here to tell you.. No It's Not! Woo hoo!

You CAN make a Pumpkin Spice creamer on your own. You don't have to be a trained cook or anything like that. All you need to do is to be able to boil something without burning it and stir.

Just A Few Simple Ingredients

The recipe I have for you today is not only easy to make, but it also only has four ingredients!

You can even change out the non-dairy milk for any kind of milk. Regular cow's milk works too.

  6. This looks so wonderful for fall! I'm not a huge coffee drinker - but it's really chilly here this morning, and I feel like snuggling up with a mug of coffee and this creamer would be pretty amazing right now, haha.
